Handling Problem Staff – what the law says
This session aims to take delegates through the basic employment law requirements of handling a range of typical staffing problems including absenteeism, incapability and disciplinary problems. The session covers the main requirements of the Disputes Resolution Regulations.

New Regulations for Resolving Disputes
This session specifically looks at the requirements of the Dispute Resolution Procedures introduced on 1 October 2004. It covers the 3-step process which employers have to follow if they are contemplating terminating an employee’s contract and the steps employee’s have to take if they have a grievance against their employer.
